I use the recipe found here at Mom Advice for a salted caramel mocha latte. Only I make my own caramel syrup and caramel sauce using the recipes found here. Once I have a batch of each made up, it lasts in the fridge for several weeks. Jim and I often have our lattes on Friday nights for our in-home "dates" while we watch a movie after the kids go to bed (I use decaf when we're having them at night :)). This has become a special little tradition for us, and a very yummy one too. I keep canned whipped cream on hand just for these. The freshly ground salt adds the perfect finishing touch!

A post a day--Dec. 21: Salted Caramel Mocha Lattes
I'm not a coffee kind of girl. I've always loved the smell, but hated the taste. But on our trip to Ohio this summer, we got lattes a couple times to help us stay awake on the road. And I found out that I LOVE caramel lattes. :) Then I had a salted caramel latte at the ladies' retreat in the fall, and I decided I needed to learn how to make something similar at home. I dug out the cheapo coffee maker that we bought years ago to have around for company but which we've only used a handful of times, and after looking at a few recipes online, I came up with this:

Oooo that looks yummy! I'm not a coffee lover either, but I've had coffee ice cream a couple of times and I didn't mind that, so I think if the coffee taste is super diluted I might like it. I might have to try that sometime. :)
i used to hate coffee too. :) I started drinking it anyway a few years ago and started to really like it especially on a cold winter morning. I have never had a Latte though(your's looks so yummy!!!)I cut out coffee when I found out I was pregnant, starting drinking it again when I thought I wasn't and was THRILLED to cut it out again this week. :)
