Weekly Goals: 04/30/12

I took last week off from posting goals for a couple of reasons: I was sick 2 weeks ago, so I hadn't made much progress on the last goals I posted (04/15), and also, last week was a super busy week filled with get-togethers with friends, a checkup for Josiah, and 2 birthdays (more about those soon!), plus I was still recuperating from being sick and just trying to get my act together all week! So I didn't really set goals, other than just surviving the week. :)

Anyway. Here we are, in an NEW week . . . and it happens to be the first week of MAY!!! Pretty exciting. So here are my goals for this week, and I hope to also post some new monthly goals tomorrow!

  • Drink 3 bottles of water, 5-6 days
  • Blog at least 3 times (hopefully more--I have a lot to catch up on!)
  • Order birthday presents for Jim
  • Pay some bills
  • Make piano schedule for church for this month
  • Plan 2 weeks of menus/grocery shop
  • Get together with friends
  • Set new goals for May
  • Spring clean: laundry room
  • Complete week 34 of school
  • Do something creative
  • Finish reading The Mission of Motherhood
Here's hoping for a very productive week, after a couple of really not-productive ones! :)

The part of your post that I can most relate to is when you said that you were simply trying to survive the week. That has definitely been me lately; I hope I can snap out of it soon or things will get completely & totally out.of.control. :-)

Mary Ann--things ARE totally out of control here at my house!! :) I feel the need to do a really BIG spring clean/declutter very soon. I hope I can motivate myself to do it this summer! Homeschooling is great, but it kind of throws a monkey wrench in my housekeeping during the school year.

How are you doing these days? You are in my thoughts often and I pray you are doing okay. :) I miss your blog posts!!

I am so glad that we are NOT the only ones who are behind in everything around the house. It is so bad. I feel like we are just being swallowed up in everything clutter. Hoping to change that soon. I love reading about what you are up to though.
