Music to my ears . . .

I had such an awesome "homeschooling mama moment" yesterday; it really made my day and I just had to share it with you guys! I was busy getting supper ready and Sam was sitting on the living room floor looking at a story book (not a school book), when suddenly he looked up and said in a surprised voice, "Mommy! I found myself reading this book!" Granted, it was not a difficult book, but it was so exciting to me that reading is starting to come naturally to him. :)
