Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday--I've been busy doing some decluttering and trying to get my house in shape! Now, I also need to work on getting ME in shape! :) I was bummed again this week not to lose any weight. However, I did almost make my exercise goal (4 days out of 5 again) and did really well with my water intake. I slacked off on the food journal, though, and let some sweets creep in again, so I need to really work on that this week. At this point, the possibility of losing 11 more lbs. by my birthday doesn't exactly look reachable . . . but I'm at least going to try my best to lose a pound per week till then. Even losing 5 or 6 lbs. in the next month would be a huge boost of encouragement!!
I do think I'm starting to see a difference in toning since starting to exercise more. As some of you have reminded/encouraged me, building muscle may mean I won't see as much weight loss as I'd like, but hopefully I will still lose inches and go down in size. :) I forgot to take my starting measurements, but I think the workout DVD is definitely helping.
So, here's hoping I'll have a little something to report next week . . . and that I can mostly stay away from Sam's birthday cake on Friday!!! :) How are you guys doing? I hope you've been able to make some progress on your goals!

I'm right with you, Carrie. I was a little bummed to see that I weighed exactly the same on March 1st as I did on February 1st. I don't know how long I can blame my lack of progress on my surgery :-)
I did manage to exercise at least 10 days last month which I don't think is too bad considering everything else.
The last two days I've done fairly well so here's hoping that it's the beginning of a trend!

This week I did quite well with exercising. I did my simple exercise routine 4 days out of the 5 that I aim for, and went for a walk 4 days out of 7. The snowy, wet weather meant I couldn't walk every day. I did pretty well with eating healthy through the week, but not so good on Saturday (I made cookies) or Sunday. I got plenty of sleep. Drinking enough water still needs work, but I did drink much more water (and green tea) this week. I'm seeing a slight difference in the way my clothes fit and quite a difference in the way I feel. One habit I need to work on is more fruits and veggies. I do pretty well with vegetables, not so well with fruit. I could keep better track of this if I was using FlyLady's body clutter investigator...

Oh and have a small piece of birthday cake! You earned the right to celebrate that birthday. LOL!
I made thick and chewy triple chocolate cookies yesterday. I somehow doubt the diet will go very well this week!
