A Homemade Life

Here are some homemade things I'd like to share this week. First up: a clothespin bag! Once we finally remembered to buy clothespins, Jim asked me what I was planning to keep them in. I wasn't sure! But I've always thought clothespin bags were handy, so I looked online for free patterns. I ended up using this one, which calls for a full size hanger instead of a child size one. I recycled one of the curtains from our old trailer, and it worked great!

Next up are some things I made for baby shower gifts for my friend Becky, who is expecting a little girl in October. I found the tutorial for this reversible nursing cover at Make It and Love It. I really liked how it turned out!
I really love these prints together! I got them at Joann Fabrics.
This is how I wrapped it--for a finishing touch. :)
And I also made this set of cozy burpcloths for her. It's so much fun to make baby gifts!
So, what homemade things have you tackled this week? I would love to hear inspiration from others! Feel free to share your projects or links in the comments!

Everything came out so nice!!! The baby gifts are so sweet, and the recycled curtain makes a great clothespin bag.

I just put up a brief homemade life post showing my crocheted swiffer cover, with a link to the directions for making one. It came out well and actually fits the swiffer! I want to make a second one so I can always have a clean one on hand.
