We got a very exciting email early this morning! Little Ruth Ellen was born to Josh and Joanne at 4:03 am, weighing in at 6 lbs. 1 oz. We are so happy for them and can't wait to see pictures of Ruth. Now Julia will have another girl to play with at Christmas time every year . . . and one fairly close to her own age, too. Ruth is sure to be one well-protected little girl, because she has three older brothers to look after her. Probably she'll be very tough, too! :) Congratulations, you guys, and enjoy your new little blessing!!
Also, Crystal Paine had her baby girl last night--and there are lots of details (and pictures soon to come) on her blog. I thought it was pretty neat--she and Joanne shared a due date (2 weeks from now) and actually ended up having their girls within about 8 hours of each other.
(BTW, those aren't Ruth's feet in the picture--it's just a picture I got at Stock.Xchng. :))
