Julia at 7 months

Julia turned 7 months last Wednesday! I know I always say this, but the time is going by way too fast! She is sitting up very well by herself now, although she still topples over now and then, so I make sure she is surrounded by pillows when she's sitting on the floor. She's also started scooting backward when she's on her belly. Not crawling yet, just scooting. I think the crawling will be here before long, though, because she just started getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. I'm glad she isn't quite completely mobile yet, that way we don't have to worry about her going after the Christmas tree. :)

She loves to play with her teething toys and her doll, and whatever else she can get her hands on. She likes to eat paper. (Although we don't purposely let her eat it. :)) She's also tried some yogurt for the first time and seemed to like it. Her bottom 2 teeth are right there--not quite poking through yet, but you can feel them and see the tops of them. I think they will be coming through any day! She loves to ride in the backpack, and also enjoys sitting up in the shopping cart seat by herself (rather than riding in her carseat). She has a blast with her Daddy and Sam, and she absolutely loves taking baths. She is our water baby! I think she would happily stay in there all day, if she could. :) She also is on her way to becoming a Thomas fan, just like Sam, as you can see from this picture:

All in all, she is a bundle of fun!

Hi Zan! Oh, your boys will love the trains! Thomas stuff is definitely expensive . . . Sam gets a lot of his from our relatives, who often find good deals on it, I think. I've also found some really good prices on some of the trains & accessories at Marshall's. If you have one near you, keep your eyes open because the merchandise is constantly changing!
