Christmas Countdown Challenge--Day 24

Well, I got absolutely nothing done for the challenge today! But there's always tomorrow . . .

However, we got to attend a Christmas concert tonight, by the US Air Force Band of Liberty! This was very cool, as it has been a LONG time since we have had the privilege of attending a live concert such as this. In fact, I think probably our last time to enjoy something anywhere near close, would have been artist series at our respective colleges. Even cooler, is the fact that my cousin is a clarinetist with the Band of Liberty. We're so proud of him! He had reserved some very nice seats for all of his family members who could attend--center section, about 10 rows back. It was LOUD! Some of the vocals weren't our favorite style, but the instrumentals were fantastic. They also did a sing-along at the end, which was fun. Sam got pretty ornery, but Julia did awesome through the whole thing, and obviously loved the music. It made for a late night, but we were glad we went. It was a nice kick-off to the Christmas season!

Yes, wasn't it fun!

I did manage to get a few things done today -- the major thing was taking down all of my fall decor and getting some Christmas things in place. Lots more to do, however!

Hope you get to do some baking tomorrow!
