Ohio

Well, we are currently in Ohio visiting Jim's family!  Sorry my blogging has been so sporadic lately.  We arrived yesterday and will be here for a week--it's HOT here (94 today), but we are enjoying the air-conditioned house. :)  We're looking forward to a relaxing week with family, a few shopping and visiting trips, and just hanging out around the farm.  The kids are having a great time with cousins, and of course I'm enjoying the chance to catch up with my sis-in-law and mom-in-law!  And the guys have already had a good time shooting together. :)

I can't believe how fast the summer is going by.  By the time we get home, it will be time to think about organizing all my school stuff for the year, then hopefully starting sometime around the end of August.  I actually already started with the organizing, but I have to finish making a schedule for Julia's curriculum and figuring out how to spend one-on-one time working with both her and Sam.  I am getting excited about the upcoming school year, but it's definitely going to be interesting as I go from teaching one to two!

I hope all of you are having a great weekend and hopefully I will catch up on more bloggy stuff soon!

Hi Carrie,
Your trip sounds exciting.:)Hope you have a nice, restful time.It is always fun to get a chance to get away and visit the far away Grandparents. Both sets of our kids Grandparents live a long ways away and I often feel bad for the kids. Both Josh and I grew up with Grandparents next door and that was nice.

Hey, lady! If you're anywhere near Akron, let me know! Would love to connect with you if you have time!

Thanks ladies! We are having a great time. :)

Alicia--sadly, we won't be in the Akron area this time. :( I hope it works out so we can get together one of these years when we're in Ohio though! Lately we have been taking a different route through PA that shaves off an hour or so over our previous route through NY/PA/OH. This year we made it in 14 hrs. 4 min, which I think was our fastest time so far. Which was very nice! :)
