to everyone who shared their input on my last post, and to everyone who's praying for us! After researching and considering 3 different pediatric dentists, getting input from you all and several local friends, hearing personal recommendations, etc., we were able to find one whom I think will be best for us. :) They were able to fit Julia in at 1:30 this afternoon, so I will let you all know how that goes! Please continue to pray for peace for her (and us!) and for wisdom for the dentist who will be checking out her teeth. We now have found that at least 3 of her back teeth are affected, and we have no idea how much more extensive the damage might be. Honestly, I've been getting a little fearful thinking about the "what ifs"--but I need to focus on the things that are real and not what "could be." :) I know that if there ends up being a lot more for her to go through, then God will give her the grace to handle it, and us the grace to handle her! :) In the meantime, she is feeling good and playing cheerfully . . . I am so thankful that in spite of the injuries to her face and mouth, that she has overall healed well and bounced back so quickly. She is still eating a lot of instant mashed potatoes . . . I think we're going to need to buy another box. :)
Thanks for your prayers for us today!

Aww, poor thing! Hope the appointment went well!
Praying for you and Julia!
Carrie,
We've been praying for Julia since your Mom told us what happened on Sunday after the retreat. So sorry she has to go through this. We will continue to pray. I don't know of any local dentists and hope you are able to find someone that will be gentle with her.
We're praying whatever damage did occur will heal quickly and not cause any permanent damage.
