It's been rainy off and on for the past few days. This morning, Jim went outside to get something from his truck, and Josiah followed him out. He was drawn like a magnet to all the puddles in the driveway. I couldn't resist going out after him to get a few pictures. Eventually we had to change his clothes (after he sat in the puddles). :)
So, later this afternoon he headed outside with Sam and Julia to play some more. This is what he looked like when he came inside:
Really, the mud wasn't what was bothering him. He was just hungry! Looks like he had been trying out the mud to see how it tasted. You know how they say "you'll eat a pound of dirt before you die?" Well, I think Josiah must have passed that mark a long time ago. Seriously, out of all 3 kids, he is the one that is constantly trying to eat dirt and rocks. He keeps life interesting. :)
When I was taking pictures of his shenanigans, I commented that he was a "classic boy," and Sam misunderstood what I said. He laughingly repeated, "PLASTIC boy!" LOL. :D

My child #2 and #5 have been my dirt/stone eaters. It does make for some funny pictures!
I love the pigtails!! She is so cute. Can't wait to see you all next week. We have to get together more this summer. Jason was commenting on how big Josiah has gotten, when he came up the other night. :)
With the misunderstanding thought of a word reminds me of when my younger brother Nathanael with the phrase "hoppy doodle little buddy, hoppy doodle" he rang out with the words..."happy noodle!happy noodle" I just thought that you might all find that that was so cute!!!!
