Works of God Monday--Thankfulness Edition

It's been quite a while since I've done a Works of God Monday post--not for lack of God working, but for lack of blogging time! So today I'd like to share a "little thing" that I am thankful for. :) And that is that Josiah slept 6 hours straight in his crib, the past two nights! Yes, he's 9 mos. old, and no, he doesn't sleep through the night yet. And really, I'm totally OK with him waking up in the wee hours of the morning, coming into our bed, snuggling and nursing. But at the same time, I am happy that he's starting to go for longer stretches in his own bed . . . the unbroken hours of sleep are very nice indeed. :)

There's nothing quite like uninterrupted hours of sleep - I always feel like a new woman, seriously, the next day. Praise the LORD for good sleeping habits!

Amen! Even though I'm a grandmother, I remember how hard it was having my sleep interrupted in years gone by. How great that Josiah is beginning to get the knack of sleeping through the night.

Most of the works of God in my life this past week have been in answer to unspoken requests, so I won't share the specific answers. But it has been neat to watch God work! What a blessing to observe the sovereignty and omnipotence of our great God!

Well, that made me feel better. I feel like I'm never going to get a good night's sleep ever again!!! Anna (6 mo) goes about 6 hours, too, but I'd really like it to be 8 or 9. :)
