I had a really nice Mother's Day! On Saturday, Jim surprised me with a beautiful rose. We thought about eating out yesterday, but decided it would be more sensible to save our money and eat leftovers. :) My mom had made us a lasagna after Josiah was born, and we had baked it on Friday, plus we had leftover pizza from Saturday. So we had plenty to choose from. :) And we also had birthday cake and ice cream for dessert!
Yesterday also happened to be Jim's birthday (happy birthday, sweetie!). He took a nap in the afternoon while I hung out with the kids. It was a beautiful day, so we spent time both inside and out. I had fun taking some cute pics of the kiddos while Jim was sleeping. I am so thankful for these precious little ones and the joy that they bring to our home! I am thankful for the privilege of being their mommy.
Josiah was wide awake in the swing for quite a while. He's still tiny, but starting to fill out a little bit. As of Tuesday, he was just one ounce shy of his birth weight, so I think he is probably somewhere close to 7.5 lbs. now. Just a guess . . . he won't be weighed again till his 2 month checkup, so it'll be interesting to see how much he grows by then.
Me and my sweet little sunshine girl!
Triple trouble!
I love this one . . . they came up with the idea of holding Josiah's hands all by themselves. :)
I also wanted to wish a late Happy Mother's Day to my mom, mother-in-law, sister and sisters-in-law, and our grandmothers! I hope you all had a good day, too! We love you and are so thankful for you!

What a peanut Josiah is! Sounds like he's a pretty easy going baby. How are you handling the transition of going from 2 to 3 kiddos? A belated happy mother's day to you!
Oh, those pictures are precious. Josiah is so tiny!
I love the last picture! Josiah looks like a deep thinker. What a sweet little face he has. I'm glad that you had a nice Mother's Day. I don't know that a mom with little children ever gets a "day off" but what a wonderful "job" it is to be a mommy. :)
