Yesterday I spent a lot of time sewing, which was really fun. I finished my maternity jumper (finally!), finished a dress for Julia that I had started last summer, and did a little embellishing on a gift. I’m hoping to do a little more sewing today. I have this plan to make a shirt for me (for post-partum wear) and a matching dress for Julia. I would love to get this pattern (scroll down the page to the Girl's Regency Dress) to make her dress (as long as I have enough fabric, which I’m not sure of yet . . . I bought the fabric while we were in Ohio and I think I got over 2 yards of it, but I’m not sure how much the 2 patterns combined will need). Here is a picture of Julia in her new dress :
Even though the first day of spring was officially last Thursday, it still looks nothing like spring around here. Well, aside from the road and driveway starting to get muddy in places. We have finally started having some warmer weather, though, so I do have hopes that spring will come sometime! :)
I only have about 5 more weeks to go till my due date. I just posted an update on my pregnancy blog about my last appt. (last Monday).
Well, I hope you all are having a lovely Easter and rejoicing in the new life we have in Christ!! I’ll try to post a bit more throughout this week if I have time!

such a cute dress!
Thanks! I was really happy with how it turned out. Now, we just need some warmer weather so she can actually wear it . . . :)
I love the little dress - looks like she has plenty of room to grow, too! (lots of time for the warm weather to show up!) Maybe it is because Easter was so early this year, but it sure seems like it's past time for Spring to arrive full force...:-)
Jenny, yes--I was happy that it turned out a little big since she won't be wearing it for a few more months! I am so ready for spring, but it'll be a while, I'm afraid. We've had weather in the 40s this week, but more snow is predicted for tonight . . . kind of feels like the never-ending winter, around here! Sounds like Michigan feels similar!
