Christmas Countdown Challenge!

I thought it might be fun to start a Christmas countdown challenge to help myself (and anyone else who cares to join in!) to prepare for Christmas. It's hard to believe, but Christmas is only one month from TOMORROW!!! So, each day I am going to try and write a short post to let you know what I did that day to prepare for Christmas. It can be anything Christmas-related, such as baking Christmas cookies, purchasing/wrapping gifts, addressing/sending cards, decorating the house, etc. Hey, even listening to Christmas music or watching a Christmas movie counts! :) This will be a month-long challenge, right up to Dec. 24th, although I pretty much need to have my own preparations done by Dec. 15th, as we are heading off to OH to visit Jim's family that weekend. But I will try to still post once a day to get comments from the rest of you on what you are doing. No guarantees, though, as we will be pretty busy having fun with our family! :) Maybe I can get my mom (Mrs. T) to take over the challenge for me at that point--we will see what works out, as I haven't mentioned that to her yet. :) Anyway, I would love it if some of you can join me in getting ready for this fun and special day. And let's not forget, amid all the hustle and bustle, to focus first of all on the reason we celebrate Christmas--Jesus' birth!!

The challenge will officially begin tomorrow, so have fun!

Oh, I am ahead of the game! This evening I was given a CD of Christmas music -- the Air Force Band of Liberty has produced a Christmas CD, and my nephew kindly gave me one.

This sounds like a fun challenge, and I think I can manage to keep up with it, since I am doing some Christmas crafting most every day.
