Well, we think we now have a buyer for the trailer! It's not any of the people mentioned in my previous post . . . it's another couple who called on Sunday. They have actually given us a deposit on it, and are in the process of getting a lot in a trailer park. They say they already have someone lined up to move it. They seem very excited about it. So, please pray that this all works out!! It will be a big load off of us to have it moved out of there. Unfortunately the trailer fell victim to some vandalism over the weekend. Someone threw rocks through 2 of the windows, and also cut out the screen of the bathroom window, apparently trying to get inside. I guess they didn't notice the fact that the bathroom window is way too small for anyone but a child to crawl through. So we were a little frustrated about that, but thankfully the small amount of damage didn't bother the potential buyers.

Jim has had the privilege (or should I say experience?) of seeing bull moose up close twice in the past week. The first time was when he was on the way from from CT in his new truck, driving on a road not far from home. That time the moose came into the road in front of the truck ahead of Jim; both of them had time enough to slow down, and the moose trotted off down the road. Last night, the second time, he and Sam were on their way home from the mechanic's, and about ready to turn off the main road, when another huge moose came out of nowhere, right beside the passenger side of the truck. This time Jim had to slam on the brakes and swerve, but thankfully avoided hitting him. I wonder if that bright red truck somehow attracts them even after dark? :) Seriously though, we are very thankful for God's protection! We think it's time to get some more of those "deer scarer" thingys to put on the grill . . . we wonder if those truly work, but we have had them on several of our other vehicles, and have actually seen deer turn around and head the other way instead of coming out into the road, so we think maybe they do. At any rate, they're not expensive, and if they possibly work, it's a small price to pay to help keep those critters on the side of the road and off of the hood. :)
Sam is napping right now, but I just heard him say "DaDa." But I haven't heard another sound out of him since he said it, so I wonder if he was talking in his sleep? How cute! :) He has talked in his sleep a few times; he gets that from his Daddy. :) Jim will be tickled to know that Sam was dreaming about him! Daddy is Sam's favorite person lately. Last night they went up to our mechanic's before supper, and I expected they'd be home within 1/2 hour to an hour, but about 2 hours later they finally decided to come home. :) I wasn't all that surprised, actually . . . I called once to make sure they were still there, but I wasn't worried, just figuring Sam would have gotten fussy and bored by that time, but I guess he was good the whole time! He just loves to have Daddy time and be "one of the guys." This morning Jim was hugging him goodbye and Sam was waving to me, making it obvious he wanted to go with Daddy! He cried when Jim told him he couldn't. I'm glad that he's starting to pull away from me some, though, and become less of a Mama's boy. It's so awesome to see them developing such a special bond. I love watching them drive off in Jim's truck; one big guy and one little guy, having so much fun together. :)
Well, I suppose I should get busy and start working on supper. I'm making spaghetti--nice and easy! What's for supper at everyone else's house tonight (or whenever you're reading this)? I hope each one of you enjoys a wonderful evening with family or friends.

We had Salisbury Steak with mushrooms (a great microwave recipe!), mashed potatoes and corn on the cob for supper. Last night we had Ground Beef Lo Mein from the newest Quick Cooking. (I was using up a 2-lb. pkg. of hamburg from the freezer.) The Lo Mein was delicious and so easy!
I think I'm going to have broiled fish and scalloped potatoes. I've been extrememly hungry with this pregnancy so the food goes fast. I try to make big portions now. That is so cute about your little man. My son loves to be with Daddy and his grandfathers. Unfortunately my husband works long hours and only sees him about two hrs a night. What does you husband do?

Zan, my hubby is a self-employed carpenter. He can do either rough or finish work; and also can build lovely furniture when he has the time, which is hardly ever! Self-employment has its ups and downs, but God has always provided what we need and we've never gone hungry! :)
