30 Days of Thankfulness: November 2
Oops, a little late getting this one posted! Good thing that the time change means it's actually only 10:30 pm instead of 11:30. ;)
Today I'm thankful for the beautiful fall we had here in New Hampshire. It was amazingly warm and mild, with mostly sunny days . . . truly one of the nicest falls I can remember in recent years! We have felt really spoiled and thoroughly enjoyed it. :) Now the days are getting a bit more chilly and we've had some snow flurries and some rain, the colors are mostly gone and the landscape is looking wintery. BUT, we sure enjoyed it while it lasted. :)

It has indeed been a glorious fall. I don't think I can remember such a mild fall. No frost until near the end of October -- remarkable!
One thing that has really stood out to me this year has been the color of the sumacs. Everything from green and yellow to orange, burnt orange and red. Such amazing color from such a lowly plant!
