A post a day--Dec. 13: Soup & Breadsticks

I had planned a longer post for today, but time got away from me and I didn't have time to finish it.  So I will save that one for another day, and instead share links to two very yummy recipes that we enjoyed last week.  I've been trying to get back to menu planning, and in flipping through my big binder of recipes, this Zuppa Tuscana Soup caught my eye.  I've made a variation of it before, but this time I used this recipe from Passionate Homemaking.  It is supposed to taste like a soup from Olive Garden--I can't say how it compares because I've never had the restaurant's version.  But I can say it is delicious!!  Mmmmm, so yummy on a cold winter night!

To go along with it, I used our favorite breadsticks recipe from Money Saving Mom.  Double yum!!  These don't last long at our house; everybody LOVES them. :)

Sounds delicious! I will have to try that soup. It sounds like something we would really enjoy (though I would cut down on the bacon and only use enough for flavor). I love kale in soup. Thanks for sharing!
