Well hello again, blog world! Obviously my summer blogging has been hit or miss. :) My goal setting and attaining has been hit or miss, too--mostly miss. Even though ever week I think I'll stay home more, our weeks end up getting busy with spontaneous things going on. It's all fun, but consequently not much gets done around the house--which is not always a good thing, especially when the house is already a disaster zone! Yesterday I was able to whip the kids' room into shape, and hopefully this week I can tackle some other trouble spots, all while trying to survive the heat wave, which may or may not involve another trip to the beach . . .
And I desperately need to grocery shop, since I haven't actually menu-planned for the past 2-3 weeks, and have been flying by the seat of my pants!
Anyway, here's my list of goals for this week. Hopefully I'll remember to update next week and post more goals, to get back in the groove again. :)
- Drink 3 bottles of water, 5-6 days
- Lose a little weight
- Exercise every day
- Finish the new bathroom shelves
- Blog 3 times
- Pay bills
- Take the kids to a birthday party
- Begin planning and printing travel activities for our Ohio trip (coming up in less than 3 weeks!)
- Keep the house reasonably clean :)
- Read a chapter or more in Educating the Wholehearted Child
- Finish reading The Fiddler
- Post book reviews for two books
- Plan menu for the next 2 weeks and grocery shop
And probably I'm kidding myself that I'm going to get that much done, but I'm setting my sights high. :) I'll let you know how it goes!
