January Goals

Now that I've shared my overall goals for this year, I wanted to share some specific goals that I'm working on this month. Hopefully I will do better than last year keeping up with posting about them and being accountable to you all. :)

  • Daily quiet time in the Word & prayer
  • Fast from sugar (this includes cookies, candy, etc. but not bread or other carbs or starches such as potatoes)
  • Exercise 5-7 times a week for 20-30 minutes each time
  • Lose 5 lbs by Feb. 1st
  • Read 2 books (this month's books are A Proper Pursuit--already finished--and Reshaping It All (weight loss/fitness inspiration!)
  • Stick to our budget
  • Pay all bills on time
  • Go to bed earlier
  • Start school earlier
  • DIY project: turn all the tomatoes in my freezer into spaghetti sauce :)
  • Sewing project: a few belated Christmas gifts

Those sound like excellent goals! I will try and post about some of mine in the coming week.

Good breakdown for the month. My first goal is to figure out what my goals should be & then write a post on my blog about them :-)

Hi Carrie,
I wonder if I actually wrote out my goals if I may accomplish something.I will think about that.Maybe I will do a post on what I hope to accomplish this month.Thanks for the idea.
