Happy Easter!!!!

{The Garden Tomb by Thomas Kinkade}

This week, I've been listening to several favorite CDs that have helped me focus on Christ's sacrifice for us, and His glorious resurrection. My current favorite is the Pettit team's newest recording, "So High the Price." Really, this is one that I can listen to over and over again, and be blessed by it every single time. Powerful and beautiful! As we celebrate Easter, I wanted to share the words to "See, What a Morning" by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend. I hope they are a blessing to you, as well!

See, what a morning, gloriously bright,
With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem;
Folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light,
As the angels announce, "Christ is risen!"
See God's salvation plan,
Wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,
Fulfilled in Christ, the Man,

For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

See Mary weeping, "Where is He laid?"

As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb;

Hears a voice speaking, calling her name;
It's the Master, the Lord raised to life again!
The voice that spans the years,

Speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us,

Will sound till He appears,

For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

One with the Father, Ancient of Days,

Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty.

Honor and blessing, glory and praise

To the King crowned with pow'r and authority!
And we are raised with Him,

Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered;
And we shall reign with Him,

For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

Have a blessed Easter!!

LOVE that hymn by the Gettys! I hope we sing that one tomorrow -- so packed with truth and so much celebration in it!

A blessed Easter to you and your family!

Thanks for sharing that hymn, Carrie. I have never heard it; the words are beautiful. I also haven't heard the Petit's most recent recording, but their cd's are ones that I can listen to over & over & over & over again :-)
I hope you had a wonderful Easter Sunday!
