The living room is really looking good, and I'm happy with all I've gotten done in the past week! I'll plan to share a picture either tonight or tomorrow. The only thing I have left to do off my original list, is spot clean the rug. And I'm really hoping I can tackle the inside of the hutch tomorrow, too. It would make me feel good to have that organized. :) Today has been busy with baking bread, keeping up with the dishes, and be consistent with child training . . . something I need to focus on more than my messy house! Anyway, the rest of the house isn't looking so hot, but I'll tackle another room next week, while hopefully trying to maintain the living room too. Next week's area will be the front porch, entry, and dining room (a la Flylady). Now the entry is one of my very worst clutter areas, so this should be fun. :) I'll see if I can actually bring myself to post a "before" pic. :)
Just for fun, here's a link to the curtains we're considering for our living room. I need to make up my mind by Sept. 5th so I can get free shipping. We're thinking one panel for each window (which is the same as we have now) because they would be plenty big enough. I would also get the longest size and re-hem them, giving me a good amount of leftover fabric, which would be the most bang for my buck! I figure I could make a curtain for the kitchen, or placemats, or seat cushions for the kitchen chairs . . . so many possibilities!
