For all the mommies . . .
I just came across this website, Mamanista, a few days ago, and wanted to share. My favorite thing about it is that they have regular contests to win very nice baby things! Right now there are a couple different contests for baby shoes, which I still want to enter, as well as a contest for a Ju-Ju-Be diaper bag, which I already entered. Speaking of which, those diaper bags look really nice, but they are very pricey . . . so I was tickled to find out that the company actually gives one away every week on their website! (You have to click on the "Pink Room" button which takes you to their bulletin board, which is where you enter the giveaways.) I could use a new small to mid-size bag, so I am definitely going to enter.

I understood what you were saying in terms of people being in your baby's face - especially strangers. I didn't get too many strangers getting in Michael's face when we were in VT. I hope that this remains true now that we are in the south. It seems, in general, that New Englanders are more respectful of other people's space. Although, having been to Boston, I can't say the same for them. They are soooo pushy and have no regard for personal space! Sorry about the rabbit trail - hee, hee. I just wanted you to know that I understood where you were coming from.
Let me know if you end up getting one of those slings. I have a front pack that I like but it may be too hot to use this summer - we'll see:). Have a super day!
