1. Refresh your spirit: check!
2. Take time to plan: check! I finished my morning routine rather late (10:45-ish, because I got a late start this morning). Next I made a to-do list for the day, which looked like this:
- Laundry
- 15 min. in laundry room
- Work on sewing shirt
- Plan supper: pancakes, bacon
- Kitchen clean-up
- Vacuum
And here's how my laundry room looked this morning:
I am happy to say that as of right now, I have almost all the laundry done. I just have one more small load to fold--not sure if that will get finished tonight or not. And the laundry room looks much better, too!! I wiped down the washer and dryer, cleaned the utility sink, threw away some empty bottles, dusted the detergent bottles, swept and mopped the floor, and straightened the stuff on top of the washer and dryer. Maybe soon I'll invest in one of those small laundry carts to organize the bottles better, and make the washer and dryer look a lot less cluttered.
I'm also thankful that I was able to cross off all the items on my to-do list, both yesterday and today . . . hooray! I have a couple busy days coming up, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to join in on the challenges to come. I hope I can at least do a little bit, though! It's really helping to motivate me and I'm so excited to get the house spiffed up before Christmas!
