Thanks to all of you for your sweet words and congratulations! It was fun to have the kids "announce" the big news.
Well, as to the details . . . I'm not exactly sure of when I'm due, but my guess is the end of April/early May. I had my first appt. with my midwife yesterday, and she decided to go with a late April due date for now, and we can always change it later if it seems like that's way off. I may have an ultrasound further down the road to try and get a more accurate date, or we may just be able to tell if we're on the right track by how I'm growing and measuring. I'm seeing the same midwife I had last time, Sherry, and am planning another homebirth, Lord willing!
I've been feeling really good. With each pregnancy so far, I've had about 1-2 weeks of nausea and exhaustion, around 5-6 weeks along, but I am very blessed to have not had the horrible morning sickness that so many moms have! The tiredness was worse this time around, but I think that's just because I have 2 little ones to keep up with now! Thankfully Jim let me take lots of naps on the weekends and a couple other days when he was off work. My energy is returning now, although I'm trying to pace myself and not stress out about the housework falling way behind. I know there are just some seasons where rest is more important, both for my health and baby's. :)
The only other thing that has (already!) started giving me a little trouble is sciatic pain. I've had this with each pregnancy, and it always starts really early. Thank goodness for our memory foam mattress, which has helped with that a lot!!
As for the kids, Sam understands the concept of a new baby pretty well, and has already informed some people that "my mommy has a new baby in her tummy!" Julia, on the other hand, doesn't get it yet, and probably won't till the baby actually comes. But I'm hopeful that she'll adjust quickly and be a loving big sister. :)
Let's see what else . . . we won't be finding out if it's a boy or girl ahead of time (I'm old fashioned and like the surprise at the end), and I don't have a feeling one way or the other at this point, although as I get further along I may. But my pregnancies with Sam & Julia were very similar, so I don't think I'll really be able to make a good prediction based on how I feel. Some other neat things: My little sister is also pregnant and is due about 4-6 weeks ahead of me! Since I went early both other times (2.5-3 weeks) and she was 2 weeks late with her first, our kiddos could be very close in age, you never know! Also, I have another good friend who is also expecting her third baby, and we've been pregnant at the same time for at least part of each of our other pregnancies, too. Pretty neat!
So I'm excited to join the expectant mommies club again. I'm also planning to open up my pregnancy blog again (Eating for Two) and share all my pregnancy posts there. It worked well last time, and was fun to have a separate record of just preggo stuff.
Thanks again for all the comments--I really enjoyed reading them! :)

Hey Carrie, I'm so excited for you, and excited to be able to follow this pregnancy on your blog for the full duration (I had to go back last spring and read everything about Julia). Who knows, maybe I'll be joining you again in the expecting moms club over the next few months :)
Looking forward to your pregnancy blog, it was so much fun to read last time. That is so neat that you and your sister are both having babies at the same time. My older sister and I had ours 24hrs. & 42 min. apart. I went late and she was close to her due date. That was in 2003.
How old will Julia be?
I'm so jealous that your not throwing up. ;-) j/k I wouldn't wish morning sickness on my worst enemy.
It is SO much more exhausting with two little ones running around. I get very little done.
I look forward to reading and seeing preg. updates. I should post another pic of my growing belly. I think I have twins. I am a lot bigger than I was before. LOL!

Congratulations! I'm very excited for both you and Joanna. I'm sure you'll be very tired dealing with the two young ones and the new one on the way, but God will give you the strength you need. I look forward to reading your Eating for Two blog as well.
CONGRATULATIONS!! Les had e-mailed me to tell me about her pregnancy and mentioned you and Jo were expecting too. How exciting! I can't believe how big Julia and Sam are getting. TIme just flies by.
Hi Carrie,
Congratulations! I am also pregnant, with my second, who is due at the end of April as well. I remember reading Eating for Two when I was pregnant with my first, and I'm looking forward to you posting there again.
