Home Again!

We made it home safe and sound, last night around 9:45 pm. We had a WONDERFUL time in Lancaster County! I hope to blog all about the trip and post pics, of course, over the next few days. We definitely feel refreshed, even though a bit tired from the drive, as well as all we packed into the three full days we were there!

Today was busy with running errands--getting a few needed groceries so we can eat this week, bringing our overdue books to the library, mailing some postcards and a package (yes, I'm such a dummy--I forgot to bring postcard stamps on the trip, and we never made it to a post office, so I mailed our PA postcards from NH, LOL!), etc. We also had another fun experience this morning, involving a bat in the house . . . second time this has happened . . . we MUST get those eaves enclosed this summer!!! Thankfully Jim hadn't left for work yet, so he was here to help encourage the little critter to find his way out. We think the poor thing had probably been in here for a couple days, as he seemed kind of weak.

Well, a thunderstorm is rolling in, so I'd better finish this up and get back to housework. More about the trip soon! :)
