Fall Cleaning Challenge, Part 1

I had big plans of doing some major fall cleaning this week, trying to get my house back up to the standard that I'd like to keep it at. However, I came down with a sore throat over the weekend and am slowly losing my voice . . . (not that that has anything to do with my ability to clean house) . . . but I just don't feel the greatest, so I decided I will do what I can over the next few days and hopefully next week I'll try and challenge myself more in the cleaning area.

For this week, I would like to try and keep my dishes done and get the laundry caught up. Then I'd also like to focus on our master bedroom, as that is Flylady's "zone" for this week. I would definitely like to get rid of the clutter in the bedroom. I've been able to keep the computer desk looking pretty nice since I cleaned it a few weeks ago. Now I want to tackle our dressers, dust my knick-knacks, put away all the stuff that has somehow wandered away from its proper home, put away a couple of totes of stuff that are just taking up space, and straighten up under the bed. Sounds like a tall order . . . but I'm hoping to at least make a dent. :) I would like our bedroom to be the peaceful, restful haven that it's meant to be. Our room is so large and airy, that it actually feels quite peaceful even with some clutter here and there. But I would still prefer it to be neat and uncluttered!!

Would anyone like to join me in my cleaning challenge for this week? It would be fun if others would like to work on their master bedrooms, too, and then share what they accomplished at the end of the week. But if you all have various other areas you would like to tackle first, I would also love to hear about your progress there!

I'll join in!! Our bedroom needs some major work. This is just what I need to push me into it. I'd also like to declutter my desk in the computer room this week.
