I just finished posting several recipes, which I hope others will find fun and enjoyable to try. I have a few more that I hope to post on here eventually. I've included my mom's yummy chicken pie recipe, along with her pie crust recipe, an awesome fish chowder recipe (both these things are favorite cold-weather meals!), and the recipe for the sugar cookies that Sam and I made last week.
We are taking a trip to Walmart tonight to get our family Christmas picture taken. Thus, I must stop for now and take a little time to "paint the barn," as my dad would say (put on makeup, in other words), and figure out for sure what I'm going to wear. Maybe I'll get a chance to post more tomorrow, either here or on my pregnancy blog.

I've never heard that expression, "Paint the Barn". Ha! That's pretty funny:o)Hope your pictures turn out well! You'll have to post one, if possible!

The actual expression is "If the barn needs painting, paint it!" :D My dad would always give us a hard time about the amount of time we'd spend "painting the barn". It's funny, though; I used to wear makeup all the time in highschool and college (not an extreme amount, but always at least a little), and now that I'm a busy mom, I rarely take the time for it, except for church and special occasions. :)
