Today I am thankful for my sewing machine. I know maybe that sounds silly, but I was working on some projects today, and having a good reliable machine is such a blessing. :) Can you imagine the olden days before sewing machines were invented, when everything had to be hand-sewn?! I certainly can't . . . I don't think I would have had enough patience. :) My projects this afternoon were little dolls for Operation Christmas Child boxes. I got a bit of a late start, but at least collection week is still two weeks away. :) And I *think* I have almost everything else to pack in the boxes, besides the handmade things. Pictures will be forthcoming, once I get everything finished!
I'm thankful for my sewing machine too! I have so much fun making little projects using it.
And I think it's really neat that you are using your sewing machine to bless someone else, too -- the children who will receive the little dolls in their gift boxes. I wonder if it's too late for me to get a shoebox or two together?
A new sewing machine sounds wonderful! We're in the market for one too for our new little seamstress. Hugs, dear friend!
